MACHINING SPINDLE
Machining is a fabrication process which works by removing material from a bulk to sculpt the desired shape. This spindle holds a 1/8" shank end mill or drill bit, and spins it at over 20,000 RPM. The tool is then moved relative to the part to remove a swath of material as wide as the diameter of the tool. This toolhead is useful for making PCBs (by mechanicaly etching away copper cladding), milling wax molds for casting, engraving, etc.
